46 Leather Projects Anyone Can Do

By: Geert Schuiling

Publication Date: 15 Sep 2017

This step-by-step book is for both beginners and intermediate crafters using leather. The pictures are high-quality and the instructions are easy to follow. The author takes care to show pictures of each step as well as which tools to use. You can create the simple leather pouch to a more complex leather purse, regardless of your experience level with leather.

This book had more seemingly advanced projects than I thought they would, and they are easier than I ever imagined. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to work with leather, whether it is for yourself, or to make stuff to give to others.

Room Love: 50 DIY Projects to Design Your Space

Room Love, a DIY Design Book

This is one of the best DIY decorating books that I have ever seen! The decorations are timely and easy to do. The ideas are in tune with what young girls want for their bedroom and cost little to no money, depending on what you already have in your home. This DIY book is targeted for young girls ages 9 - 13, however, I believe that any mother of a young girl will love the decorating ideas in this book as well. The pictures and illustrations are bright and colorful. The instructions are easy to follow and involve only a few steps and most of the ideas consist of items that are usually around the house already. Not only does the author show what the DIY-ers need, but explains the "why" behind the concepts. She even explains how to start a major project using "mood boards" and a clean working area. This book is not only fun to look at, but it sparks the imagination and creativity of those that read it.
